About the team

Dr Julie Lanigan

Julie Lanigan RD PhD MBDA

Julie Lanigan is a paediatric dietitian specialising in research at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, London.  She is a key investigator on a range of clinical trials which focus on the influence of nutrition in early life on later health. She is co-founder and Director of TrimTots Community Interest Company and runs the Planet Munch Programme for obesity prevention in preschool children.

Julie holds an honorary contract with Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.  She is Chair for the British Dietetic Association’s Paediatric Specialist Group, has a wide range of knowledge and experience gained from more than 20 years working with families and practitioners in the field of paediatric nutrition and presents and publishes regularly in this area.

Atul Singhal

Atul Singhal is Professor in Paediatric Nutrition at the Institute of Child Health, University College London and Honorary Consultant Paediatrician at Great-Ormond Street Hospital. He has broad interests in paediatric nutrition but his research focuses on the influence of early nutrition for long-term health, the effects of nutritional interventions to reduce long-term cardiovascular risk, and nutritional interventions for obesity.

Analia Lemmo Charnalia

Ana brings 6 years of experience in social innovation and enterprise. After completing her MBA, she joined UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs where she provided seed funding and support to social entrepreneurs in the UK. Prior to UnLtd, Ana planned and implemented economic development initiatives in Massachusetts, United States. Her current responsibilities within UCLB include promoting, identifying and developing opportunities for social enterprise throughout UCL departments. She holds a BA in International Relations from Universidad de San Andres and an MBA from Oxford University.

Kerry Lanigan-Coyte

Kerry is an Artist and Creative Producer with a diverse portfolio in participatory arts. Kerry is Creative Director and Founder at  NysaProjects where she specialises in developing comprehensive project content, bid writing, workshop delivery and project management.  Kerry has received Arts Council Funding for her work, working closely with clients/stakeholders in the translation of briefs to deliver high-quality, high-impact content that engages with a wide audience and is sustainable into the future.
